As we all head home, our summer holidays drawing to an end, back to work or school, the weather is certainly a harsh reminder that autumn is on it’s way. Aside from the usual promise of an Indian summer, which this year doesn’t look forthcoming, we turn our thoughts to updating our homes.
Spotlighting on the trends for this autumn and into winter, colour is playing a key role as a visual element in design, with the introduction of lines and patterns created in blocks of colour. A perfect example of this are the new silks from James Hare, an easy way to introduce this trend into your home.
Material manipulation is another emerging theme with exhibitors experimenting with new techniques as shown here by blacksmith, James Price’s new Cocoon light.
