Frances Lamb

Hello, I’m Frances.

It all began with Jersey …

I currently live in Jersey, Channel Islands, just above the most beautiful beach with my boyfriend and our two  cats (that my daughter has given us, hmm!).  We are renovating a really tired looking 1950’s house which may sound mad but it’s all about the location!

Recently I have returned to the island, after having been living in England and abroad, two children and a career in interior design. Last year we decided to have a complete lifestyle change. Running a showroom was great fun & I met so many interesting people but there comes a time when it all becomes less fun & more of a chore. So this was supposed to be my ‘gap year’, my time to find new adventures, challenges and travel, all of which I am doing.

I decided to start Jersey Breeze as a way of showcasing the interesting things going on in the island, not just for those of you who live or visit, but also for people everywhere who are interested. People have often thought that Jersey is full of wealthy tax exiles, Bergerac or potatoes and cows, well hopefully we can improve that image!

Jersey Breeze is my way of sharing with you, some of what Jersey has to offer, as well as things that inspire me, products I love, food I want to eat, places to see, local start ups, things that make us smile and just plain fun things.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog.
